Caleb wanted to sign up to participate in this years Science Fair at his school. In the younger grades they have the option to either test a hypothesis or to learn more about something and present about it. So Matt and Caleb decided to learn how to make a foam RC plane that really flies. We always start these things too late! Caleb worked really hard on this project, he was able to do all the steps except for the last step of putting on all of the technical stuff on (which Matt stayed up late finishing while Caleb slept). I had taken some pictures of the process, but got to walmart right after they had shut off their photo machines; however, the lady asked what it was for and had compassion on me and fired up the machine so I could get these developed! She said "Moms ought to get a medal for all they do." I guess she had mom's coming in all day. I was doing the minor details, Matt helped Caleb the most. It was a good experience, but next year the consensus is to do a more scientific project. It was fun working together, after all it is a family project right?
